An Ontario painting and finishing contractor, established in Kitchener in 1997 and building for 29 years on the same set of standards.
Who we are
Built to run at scale, not around one person.
Excellent Choice Painting & Decorating Inc. has been finishing homes in Southern Ontario since 1997. More than 18,000 residences later, the firm operates across five divisions and eight regions, with established systems for estimating, scheduling, quality control and close-out.
Work is delivered by experienced finishing crews led by tradespeople with decades of residential production behind them. Estimating, scheduling and site management are handled by dedicated people rather than fitted around the work, which is what allows several substantial contracts to run at the same time without any of them slipping.
The firm is an Ontario corporation carrying comprehensive general liability insurance and WSIB coverage in good standing. We contract as a trade under the Construction Act, with documented scopes of work, certificates of insurance, WSIB clearance certificates and statutory holdback.
Principles
Four things we hold to.
Preparation decides the finish
Priming early, spraying trim and making good properly costs less than correcting the same surface once a purchaser has seen it.
The same standard at any volume
The sixtieth residence should match the first. Resourcing against a release rather than a single home is what holds that line.
Systems built alongside skilled painters
Estimating, scheduling, quality control and close-out run on established process, developed alongside a team of skilled painters who have been finishing homes for years. The process and the trade knowledge hold each other up.
We attend when called back
Rectification, deficiency lists, pre-delivery inspection items and warranty attendance are contract scope rather than a courtesy.
